Panama: how does this country live?

The Republic of Panama is the last, most southern state on a narrow strip of land that separates South America from the North. On the one hand – the Pacific Ocean, on the other – the Caribbean Sea. The population is only 3.5 million people. At the same time, Panama is picturesque and diverse and, of course, strikingly different from neighboring countries. The standard of living here is much higher, especially in the capital, and not so much because of the abundance of tourists, but thanks to the famous Panama Canal, which cuts the sea route from New York to San Francisco by almost 2.5 times.

Panama City – without exaggeration the most civilized capital of Central America: with eighty-story skyscrapers, clean streets, multi-level transport interchanges and separate garbage collection.
